RESULTS..........
- World of Outlaws)Darrell Lanigan felt like he
stole one on Thursday night at Sharon Speedway. “We got a little lucky
tonight,” Lanigan said after making the 50-lap ‘Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek’
event his second straight victory on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
“I was figuring we’d run third, but we got some lucky breaks there late in

- Fastrak NE)The FASTRAK Northeast Late Model
Touring Series made their second of three appearances of the 2010 season at
Sharon Speedway on Thursday night for race #11 of 20 on the 2010 slate.
After Wednesday’s event with the World of Outlaw Late Models was rained out,
36 of the 40 cars that participated over the two days were on hand from all
over Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and West Virginia.

- Lucas Oil)Defending series champion, Scott
Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN withstood a one-lap shootout with Ray cook of
Brasstown, NC to win his sixth Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event of the
season. The win took place on Thursday Night at Utica-Rome Speedway.
Bloomquist earned $10,000 for the 492nd win of his illustrious career.
Cook, last year's series winner at the track, finished second after starting
in ninth. Eighteenth starting Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, GA
finished third, followed by Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and John

- Central PA Speedway)The World of Outlaw Late
Models played before a standing room only crowd Tuesday night at Tim
Bainey’s Central PA Speedway as the touring series made it’s first ever
visit to the speedway. Thirty-four late models signed in to do battle at The
Big Bear for the Fear the Bear 40 and when it was said and done it was
Darrell Lanigan from Kentucky taking home the $8,000 check and proving he

- Knoxville Raceway IA)Deery Brothers Late Model
Summer Series points leader, Ray Guss Jr. captured the 11th race in the
series at Knoxville Raceway Wednesday night. The event was in conjunction
with the Harris Clash for Sport Modifieds and was rescheduled from July 8.

‘Bluegrass Bridesmaid’ any longer. Snapping his unprecedented streak of four
consecutive runner-up finishes on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series,
Lanigan kicked off the national tour’s Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek on
Tuesday night with a victory in the ‘Fear The Bear 40’ at Central PA

- Lucas Oil)Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN took the lead
with ten laps to go and then dominated the final laps to win the first ever
LOLMDS sanctioned event at Fonda Speedway. The win marked Owens' 20th
victory in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition ever. Vic Coffey of
Caledonia, NY kept the home state fans on their feet by finishing second.

West Region point leader Johnny Stokes of Columbus, MS drove the TJC
Mortgage/Maximum Signs and Graphics Mastersbilt to his series-leading ninth
and tenth victories of the season during Week 17 competition. “Dr.

- SUPR)Veteran Dirt Late Model racer Ronny Adams of
Greenwood, La., has won a lot of races at a lot of tracks, but the
59-year-old driver entered the 2010 winless at I-30 Speedway. But after
plenty of second- and third-place finishes at the track nicknamed Hammer
Hill, Adams broke through Saturday with a dominating victory on the O’Reilly
Southern United Professional Racing tour.

scheduled the PENNational on Saturday night, with twin 28-lap feature races.
John Flinner from Zelienople, PA won the first race, but weather moved in
and the second race was canceled by rain. The second race for the
co-sanctioned show between the UFo Race Championship and ULMS Racing Series
will be made up as an added bonus to the Red Miley Rumble on Saturday,
August 28.

Tyler faithful Saturday night. The rescheduled Eaton Childers King of the

- Volunteer Speedway TN)The Ray Cook-promoted
Southern Nationals Series features 10 events in the span of 13 days around
the Southeast, with races held in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina,
Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. The series made its fifth stop at Volunteer
Speedway on Friday night for a $5,300-to-win Super Late Model show presented
by Tri-Am RV Center, located just off I-81 at Exit 23 across the interstate
from the track. The previous series event winners at the East Tennessee
speedplant were Jimmy Owens in 2006 and ’07, and Tommy Kerr in both 2008 and
’09.

absent from America's Dirt Track since early June, and J.O Nobles was more
than ready to defend his 2009 Late Model Championship after the long layoff.
But in order to do so, he had to contend with some heavy hitters, such as

as hungry to take on Ocala as Nobles was.

Series for dirt Super Late Models rolls into the Cleveland (TN) Speedway,
after hosting races in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia,
and Alabama. The race as the series marks its 5th annual visit, to Monty
Morrow's dirt track, since the series was conceived in 2005 by racing
superstar Ray Cook, whom puts forth a two-week tour around the South
beginning in mid-July. This THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER event will pay $3,500
to-WIN with a hefty $450 payout, just to start the 35 lap "A" Main feature

(CMS) and vaulted into second position in the standings as a result of his

Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia. Seventeen of the twenty-eight competitors

teams signed into the Dog Hollow Speedway pits Sunday night for the
speedway’s for special race in about four years as the UFO Late Model
Touring Series pulled in for it’s inaugural race at the facility. Chris
Schneider of Springdale won the $1,000 top prize for the Stoystown Auto
Wrecker Street Stocks and Tom Pavelko of Cherry Tree won the $500 Four
Cylinder main event. Jamie Lathroum and Chad McClellan led the UFO late
models to the start with Lathroum taking the lead a setting a pretty torrid

- Clash South)Casey Roberts was able to capture the
checkered flag in the Clash South’s first ever appearance at Lavonia
Speedway Saturday, July 10 for the $3,500 to win feature event. One of the
notorious Georgia Bandits, Roberts was able to rein supreme in his home
state against 22 of the best super late models the southeast has to offer.
Roberts took the win in his Cushman Paint and Body, Starrette Trucking

- DIRTcar)Jeep Van Wormer didn't let his late
arrival slow him down Sunday night at Quincy Raceways during the 23rd stop
of the Hell Tour. The Pinconning, Mich., driver used an outside front row
starting spot to put him in position to capitalize on Brian Shirley's engine
woes early in the 40-lap main event. Van Wormer would never look back to
claim his fourth DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory of 2010 worth $5,000.

problems on his hauler in Lincoln, Illinois on his way to Quincy Raceways
for the $5000 to Win UMP Summer Nationals on Sunday, July 11 but it did not

lapping before qualifying, too his heat race win and went on to take his
fourth “Hell Tour” feature event win of the season. Brian Shirley took the
lead from the pole position at the drop of the green flag held the spot

remaining to take the win in the Revolution 2010, highlighting the UFo Race

his DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour the right way winning night 19 Tuesday
night at Brownstown Speedway. Van Wormer of Pinconning, Mich., led all 40

started on the pole and built large leads in traffic on his way to claiming
the $5,000 winner's check. Van Wormer would be challenged at points by Jason

- DIRTcar)Billy Moyer is making things look
relatively easy, as he did once again Saturday night at I-55 Raceway, the
18th stop of the 2010 DIRTcar Summer Nationals. The dirt late model hall of
fame driver was challenged throughout the event, but proved to be too much
leading all 40 laps to claim his sixth tour win in 2010. The victory earned
the Batesville, Ark., native his second win worth $10,000 on the grueling
month long tour.

of July (Independence Day) you think of patriotic displays, gathering for
outdoors summertime activities with family and friends, and fireworks.
Racers Jensen Ford and Roger Hunter proudly carried the red, white and blue
colors of the American flag around Volunteer Speedway Saturday night to kick
the holiday weekend racing program off as the national anthem (The
Star-Spangled Banner) was being sung, and the night ended with exploding

house on Saturday night at 441 Speedway by winning his second-straight
NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series main event in the Salute To America
50 driving the Faircloth Forrest Products Rayburn. For the second
straight night, Faircloth got out his broom and swept the program with fast

- World of Outlaws)Shane Clanton didn’t let a pole
position start slip through his fingers for the second time in 24 hours. The
34-year-old who now calls Fayetteville, Ga., home took full advantage of the
opportunity presented to him on Saturday night, continuing his early-summer

‘Coca-Cola 50’ at Tazewell Speedway.

Brasstown, NC, with five laps remaining Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, FL
went on to record his fourth Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of the

driving for NASCAR's Bobby Labonte took home the $10,000 after winning the
"Budweiser 50". Following Pearson was Cook; point's leader, Scott Bloomquist

- Brownstown Speedway IN)The 25 lap UMP Late Model
feature saw Steve Barnett and Joe Godsey lead the field to the green flag.
Godsey took the lead on the start and led lap one with Barnett in tow.
Barnett dove under him and ran door to door with him as they completed lap
two. Barnett officially took the lead from Godsey on lap three, but only by

- MLRA)Mount Vernon, Iowa's Chad Simpson led all 30
laps from his outside front row starting position to capture the $3,000 to
win, 30 lap Lucas Oil MLRA Main Event at Adams County Speedway in Corning,
Iowa on Saturday night. Terry Phillips out of Springfield, Missouri was
gunning for his 100th Lucas Oil MLRA win on what would have been Larry
Phillips 68th birthday but Phillips settled for second at the finish.
Madison, Nebraska's Travis Dickes had a stellar run to score a Top-3 finish
with Jason Utter out of Columbus Junction, Iowa in fourth and Henderson,
Colorado's Kelly Boen starting fifth and finishing in fifth. The event was
Tri-Sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA, the O'Reilly NCRA, and the MARS

- NCRA)Terry Phillips of Springfield, Missouri was
the class of the field as he took the lead with six laps remaining and never
looked back to win his second O'Reilly/NCRA late model feature of the season
on Friday night at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. The race was a
co-sanctioned affair with the Lucas Oil MLRA and the MARS DirtCar series.

- DIRTcar)For Billy Moyer winning is normal, and
Moyer was normal once again on Friday night at Paducah International Raceway
during Night 17 of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals. The 52 year-old driver from
Batesville, Ark., took the lead at the drop of the green and led all 40 laps
to claim his series-leading fifth victory worth $10,000. Moyer's triumph was
his second win in as many days on the grueling month long tour.

scored a thrilling Lucas Oil MLRA win in front of a standing room only crowd
at I-80 Speedway over Marquette, Nebraska's Kyle Berck in the finale of the
Midwest-Trifecta Challenge. Berck appeared to have the field solidly covered
but a series of late race cautions allowed Phillips to utilize the double
file restarts to systematically work his way to the front and overtake Berck
with 6 laps to go scoring his 99th career Lucas Oil MLRA win and third in a
row. Belton, Missouri's Alan Vaughn followed Berck to the stripe to take the
third spot with 6-time MLRA Champion Al Purkey finishing in fourth. Jason

- Clash South)Ricky Weeks was able to motor his way
to his second victory of the season with the Clash South Saturday night at
Harris Speedway. Weeks was able to lead flag to flag in route to his series
leading second victory of the season which helped to add to his ever growing
points lead with the Clash South. “I wanted to dedicate this win to a very
special person that is close to my heart, my uncle, the late J.D. Weeks”

his second win of the year at McKean County Raceway with his second career
Northern Tier Inc. United Late Model Series event in the Ned Gleason
Memorial. Lux went back home with the $4500 prize money and over $500 in lap
money making his night a very profitable evening. Other winners were Randy
