Brody Roa)When Brody Roa first got
started in racing, his father Brett told him to not get attached
to a race car. Last Saturday night at the Avanti Windows and
Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Car race at Mojave Valley Raceway, he
found out exactly why. In qualifying, he sailed it into turn
three and the car did not turn. Unfortunately, it did not stop
either. It ended up clobbering the tractor tires that protect
the pits. It signaled an end to his night before it had really
started. Press Releases

NARC)Mother Nature strikes again in
California! The highly-anticipated Peter Murphy Classic at Kings
Speedway has been postponed due to impending storms on the
scheduled April 13th race date. But fear not racing fans, the
$11,000 to win race, which features a $45,000+ overall purse,
has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 20th. That marks
11-years to the day of Peter Murphy’s violent sprint car
accident at Antioch Speedway that almost ended his life. “We are
all disappointed that we were unable to get this show in as
planned,” explained promoter and event namesake Peter Murphy.
“However, after much thought and introspect, the new date in
July has sentimental value to me. Not just the number 11, but
the anniversary of my crash that changed my life and career
forever.” “My season wouldn’t be a complete at Kings Speedway
without this race,” continued Murphy. “We are going to make it
happen and I thank all of fans for their patience.” Fans who
have already purchased tickets will be able to redeem them at
the July 20th event. This marks the third weather-related
cancellation or postponement of the 2024 season for the NARC
series. The next scheduled race is a return visit to the

Port Royal Speedway PA)Port Royal
Speedway has made the decision to move up the start time of the
April 6th event with the Penns Valley Meat Market RaceSaver
sprint cars and Weikert Livestock 410 sprint cars by 2 hours.
With the impending cold weather, the speedway committee felt it
was in best interest of the fans and teams to move the scheduled
start time for pit gates to open to 12pm, general admission
gates to open at 1pm, hot laps to begin at 2pm and racing to
start at 3pm. This is a 2 hour jump ahead from the originally
scheduled start time of 5pm. Also, the camping area at Port
Royal Speedway will be closed for the event following the 4+
inches of rain the community received during the week making the
area not supportive of campers. The Port Royal Speedway team is
focused and committed to run the show efficiently on April 6th
