Agan, Jon	Boyd and Lisa Burnham of Burnham Racing Enterprise (BRE) announce Jon Agan, from Knoxville, Iowa, will drive their No. 54 sprint car in 2009. Since beginning competition at Knoxville Raceway in 2000, Burnham Racing Enterprise has reached victory lane four times. In 2008, the team claimed one feature win and a top-five finish in the season-long point battle. Agan, 29, returned to sprint car racing in 2008 after two years away from the cockpit. In a limited schedule, Agan posted impressive results including numerous podium finishes, multiple heat race wins, two Hard Charger awards, and broke the Knoxville Raceway 10-lap track record for the 360 sprint car division. Agan finished 8th in the season-long point battle while only competing in 75 percent of the races held at Knoxville Raceway. “I am truly excited about joining Burnham Racing Enterprise,” said Agan. “We have already begun our preparation for the upcoming season, and our resources are strong. I look forward to piloting a top-notch sprint car and competing not only for wins but also a track championship.” BRE’s focus in 2009 will be competing for the Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup. Anderson, Randy	Randy Anderson has retired after 12 years of driving 410 sprint cars at Knoxville Raceway.
Anderson, Dave	Dave "Beef" Anderson will be behind the wheel of a sprint car again. After two years of running modifeds, he is back in his father's beautiful red #53. Bob is enjoying his 53rd year in racing(WOW), and to celebrate this, Beef brought back the old school red and gold leaf #53 that Bob raced for many years! Beef will be trying his hand at 305's this season since they are picking up in SE Iowa, running mainly at 34 Raceway and Knoxville, with some other local 305 shows as well. Along with this, Beef will be taking the wing off again. After much success in 2005 and 2006 running wingless, Beef will be looking forward to some non-wing racing in the region, and will be trying his hand at the inaugural Knoxville Non-Wing Nationals, and again at the Ultimate Challenge. Bunton, Ryan	The 2009 sprint car season is about to be underway for Ryan Bunton Racing. The Morton, Illinois hotshoe announces today that the team will be in competition when the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions kicks off their 2009 campaign in Florida. Bergman, Seth	Steve and Terri Bergman and Mike and Shaylen Anderson are teaming up to put Seth Bergman on the road chasing the National Championship in the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series in 2009. Bergman, out of Snohomish, Wash. will be piloting the long familiar blue No. 18 sprint car that fans around the Pacific Northwest have seen race for several years and fans across the rest of the country will get to know. Once on the road, the team will be keeping shop in the Knoxville, Iowa area. While Seth will be seeing virtually every single track on the schedule for the first time, he will have one of the country’s top 360 sprint car racers around to help guide him. Bush, Mike	With his 2008 rookie season behind him, Mike Bush is looking towards bigger and better things in 2009 for his car #31 and the Bush Motorsports Racing team.Mike learned from this past season that it takes a lot of time, dedication and money to do what we do. There has been no rest for Mike during his off-season. Mike and his crew have been working on several projects since the season ended in October 2008. First and foremost, they have been busy working on his car getting it ready for the upcoming racing season. Mike will be returning for another season driving his 305 spec motor with the CRSA (Capital Regional Sprint Agency) series. In addition this season, he plans on also running in the Empire Super Sprint (ESS) series. Second, his race shop operations will be moving upstate to Chestertown, NY this spring. With Mike now living in Hudson Falls, NY, and most of the races taking place in this region, it was more logistic to move the car, and base of operations to his Dad’s upstate home. The last project, and the one that the team is the most excited about, is working on getting a second car added to the racing team. Mike, his crew and sponsors are actively working to add a 360 Sprint car to their team. This has been a dream of Mike’s for some time and everyone is looking forward to bringing this together. Cannon, Pat	Carlisle business owner Jesse Keen will field Keen Motorsports, LLC with Pat Cannon as its hired gun to pilot the No. 17 sprinter in Central PA along with select World of Outlaws and All Star sanctioned events. Cannon, who won his first career 410 Sprint car feature this season at Williams Grove Speedway aboard the Zane Highlands owned sprinter will become a full-fledge member of the Pennsylvania Posse and is bringing quite an impressive resume along with him. “We are proud to have Pat as the driver for the team and feel that moving to a full-time 410 sprint car team is an excellent progression for Pat’s racing career and his future,” Keen added. “I like working with young talented drivers and after watching Pat race the Highlands 358 sprint car in 2008 and several times in the 410 sprint, I saw huge potential in him as a driver. Dodson, Doug	Doug Dodson and the entire Dodson Motorsports 410 sprint car team are working hard to get ready for what is shaping up to be an exciting racing season in central Pennsylvania. The team plans to race regularly at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA, along with several Williams Grove Speedway race dates added throughout the year. Davis, Josh	In 2009 Josh Davis is looking to build on a successful 2008 season that resulted in 7 top 10's, 11 top 5's and his 1st career win. Josh's season was capped off with a 3rd place finish in the Skyline/K-C points championship. 2009 will see Davis wheel the 33s for car owner Freedie Staats utilizing a new XXX chassis powered by a McPeek racing engine at Skyline Speedway and a few other tracks in the Ohio and West Virginia area. The season will also see Davis drive his Davis Motorsports 22D sprint car using a Maxium chassis powered by a Gaerte racing engine at select shows throughout Ohio, Indiania and West Virginia when not driving the 33s for Staats. Dover will celebrate his nineteenth birthday on Tuesday, February 10 and run his first race down under four days later at Bunbury City Speedway in Bunbury, Western Australia. Ely, Dave	As the 2009 racing season approaches, many changes are on the horizon for Gene Franckowiak’s Racing Team and driver Dave Ely. The schedule will probably consist of close to fifty races. The team has recently acquired the sponsorship of The Shawn Martin Agency, a State Farm Agent from Logan Twp, NJ. Agent Shawn Martin is no stranger to central Pennsylvania racing having owned various stock cars at the local speedways and growing up in the area. Recently, Martin was the main sponsor for Chris Coyle’s 2008 URC Sprint Car effort. Ely stated, “I started to get the itch to go back 410 racing just this past summer. Gene has worked really hard to get us the parts and pieces we feel we need to compete and the addition of Shawn’s help should be a huge asset. My dad has been working real hard already getting parts and pieces made so we’re prepared for ’09. Having been there before, we’re going in with our eyes wide open but look forward to the challenge.” Veteran crew chief Mike Ely will continue to turn the wrenches on the Wolfweld Chassis powered by Rider Engines machine. At the conclusion of a challenging year it was clear that John wanted to build a stronger team with a more hands on approach. Harms, Matt	Matt Harms will be in the seat of the 53H, 360 sprinter for the 2009 season. The team will be running the full Sprint Invaders schedule plus MASS races and non wing events as scheduling allows. The 2008 success with a seventh in Invader points (211 points out of first) has him thinking top five in points for 2009 and as many feature wins as possible. Matt also received the Cornwell Tools Most Improved Driver Award for 2008. Matt’s MASS runs produced a heat race win and a run from ninth to third in a B main, and one top 10 finish competing with this winged 410 series with a 360 under the hood. Non wing 360 results included a top five feature finish and a tenth in Morgan County Speedway points, even though Matt was forced to miss two races. Holtgraver, Danny	Although we are still in the off-season, there are still plenty of updates on Danny and the D4 car. First, his car will be displayed at the custom car show at the Convention Center February 6, 7, and 8, as well as at Lernerville Speedway. Danny will also make trips to Hagerstown Speedway on February 21 and Lincoln Speedway on February 28 to kick of the year with high hopes for his first two races. The D4 team will continue to race at Lincoln until racing starts at Lernerville. They will also race reguarly at Mercer Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway.
Harris, Michael	Michael Harris motorsports will be aboard a triple x chassis with backing from triple x for the 2009 race season. Hodnett, Greg	Greg Hodnett will return for a third season with car owners Jim and Sandy Kline in 2009. The 2008 season wasn’t exactly the season Hodnett and company were looking for but are looking for a much better outing in 2009 with the same team intact. With the new racing season just a few weeks away, Greg and the J & S Fabrication Racing team are busy preparing their new race cars for the annual trip to Florida. A chassis switch to JEI Performance will be powered by Don Ott Racing Engines on the #22 J & S Fabrication sprinter as the team is busy preparing for O'Reilly All Star sanctioned events at Ocala Speedway, All Star and World of Outlaws events at Volusia Speedway Park and tentatively East Bay Raceway Park. Racing begins in Florida on January 29th. The 2009 schedule will be very similar to last year's schedule and will be posted soon. The team will kick off the local racing season on February 21 at Hagerstown Speedway and then February 28 at Lincoln Speedway. Brand new apparel will be available at the start of the racing season.

Kemenah, Chad	Kemenah and his Hard 8 team are busy preparing for the 2009 World of Outlaws season in his home state of Ohio. The team moved from Oklahoma to Ohio last off-season, which allowed them to stop back at the shop during a number of times during the season to regroup and stock up on parts and pieces.

Kinser, Steve	Steve will run the WoO in 2009 with Quaker State sponsorship once again. The car will no longer have the big Q on the car but will say Quaker State instead.

Lasoski, who won his record eighth Knoxville Raceway track championship in 2008 and is the winningest driver in the history of the famed half-mile, will be teamed with longtime car builder Barry Jackson from JEI Chassis, who will be his crew chief, along with longtime Parsons Motorsports crew member Chris Strait. Skinner, Marshall	Marshall Skinner of West Memphis Ar. is teaming up with Stinson Racing of Memphis Tn. for the 360 portion of the flordia races starting next week. Marshall will be contending for the King of the 360 Crown after taking a year off from this race in 08. Marshall was the 1999 USCS National Champion and was the 2008 runner-up behind veteran Terry Gray. Marshall is hoping the ride will continue on throughout the 2009 racing season. Marshall will be contending for the 2009 USCS National Dirt Cup Championship again this year. Marshall would like thank all his sponsors and the people that help him. Sewell, Evan	Evan Sewell - Is back in 2009 after 3rd degree burns to the neck and 2nd degree on the face from a fire last summer in a 360. Driving the #15 owned by Rob Forehand. Sponsers are Action Auto Collision, Dyno Services of Oklahoma,Autism Speaks, Sewell Mechanical.
Swindell, Sammy	Sammy planned on starting the season in the Tom Rolfe #10 in Florida with the WoO then running the tour through April.With the recent break-in and robbery at the Rolfe shop the team is scrambling to get the parts they need to complete those plans.
Swindell, Kevin	Kevin will be in the Tom Rolfe #10 for the non-wing shows.
Smith, Mark	Mark Smith will be the driver of the J & B Sprints, Inc. No. 7M in 2009. The car will be owned by Brian Scandle of NRG Controls North, Inc and Don Bricker of Bricker’s French Fries. Tim Elwell will serve as team crew chief and the team will race weekly at Williams Grove and Port Royal Speedway’s. The No. 7M will also have a new look next season. Strange, Billy Jr	At the end of the 2008, Billy Strange and the Strange Motorsports team developed a plan for the 2009 season. In short, they wanted to compete at Placerville Speedway for points and pick up any other races that fit in the budget for 2009. As tracks released their schedules, Billy looked at what made the most sense dollar wise and seat time. Strange Motorsports has released their 2009 schedule tentatively made up of 30 races. The season will start with Marysville Raceway Park's Open Show on March 7th and close at MRP on October 9th and 10th for another Open Show. The team will race at all Placerville point shows and the majority of the Civil War races as well. In the mix will also be some appearances at MRP point shows and of course the Pacific Sprint Fall Nationals at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. Smith, Stevie	Stevie is the new pilot of the John & Pee Wee Zemaitis owned Zemco Speed Equipment #1 in Central PA. The schedule will be much the same as what the Zemco team has been running in recent years.
Schure, Brandon	www.BrandonSchure.com- With the 2009 season just around the corner, Brandon has a new and improved website upon us. The 2 time runner-up for the Renegade Sprint Car Series championship has high hopes for the upcoming year and hopes to open some eyes while doing it. Brandon will be driving the Schure Racing #21 which has a few new sponsors for the season with Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash and Sherwin Williams on board along with support from Slater Designs. Stewart, Shane	Shane Stewart will be in the Doyles Harley Davidson 1hd in the Northwest and travel some.
Sweet, Brad	Brad Sweet will be back with KKR driving both the number 9 sprint car & I am told now the number 9 midget rather than number 49. I am also hearing unconfirmed reports that Sweet will be running select Silver Crown events for an undisclosed team.
Sell, Derek	Sell Racing will be a new 358 team in Central PA just arriving from AZ. Derek Sell will be fielding a Maxim chassis and Don Ott 358 primarily at Lincoln and Trail ways in 2009. Current plans are to transition into 410s in 2010. We recently moved to PA from AZ where Manzanita was our home track. Derek debuted as a sprint car rookie at age 14 early in 2008 with the ASCS Canyon Region 360 non wing. Derek competed in 12 races before we made the move here to PA in late summer. We are currently preparing our two cars for the 09 season and want to thank those local racers that have already made us feel welcome. Shuttleworth, Robbie	Plans are still sketchy but the idea is to run a number of races around home and then hit the road when possible to run non-winged in Indiana or out farther to run with the ASCS National Tour. Stewart, JR	After a banner year in 2008 which saw the Bellefontaine, Ohio native be the first ever to pick up the Limaland Motorsports Park track championship, the NRA Invaders Series title, and the King of the Quarter Mile all in the same year; JR Stewart will again drive for Ron Hammons in 2009. The team will now start preparing the Hampshire powered Maxim for an all out assault to not only repeat what the team did last year but to add a track title at Waynesfield Motorsports Park as well where JR finished 8th in the points after missing two races due to family events.
