Alvis, Jim	Tampa Native, Jim Alvis! will be shoeing the #01 U.S.ARMY/ Big Dog motorcycles, Doug Shaw chassis, (winged Pavement sprint car!) Jim Alvis will be racing with the TBARA as well as a limited showing with USAC and other series.
Agan, Jon	Boyd and Lisa Burnham of Burnham Racing Enterprise (BRE) announce Jon Agan, from Knoxville, Iowa, will drive their No. 54 sprint car in 2009. Since beginning competition at Knoxville Raceway in 2000, Burnham Racing Enterprise has reached victory lane four times. In 2008, the team claimed one feature win and a top-five finish in the season-long point battle. Agan, 29, returned to sprint car racing in 2008 after two years away from the cockpit. In a limited schedule, Agan posted impressive results including numerous podium finishes, multiple heat race wins, two Hard Charger awards, and broke the Knoxville Raceway 10-lap track record for the 360 sprint car division. Agan finished 8th in the season-long point battle while only competing in 75 percent of the races held at Knoxville Raceway. “I am truly excited about joining Burnham Racing Enterprise,” said Agan. “We have already begun our preparation for the upcoming season, and our resources are strong. I look forward to piloting a top-notch sprint car and competing not only for wins but also a track championship.” BRE’s focus in 2009 will be competing for the Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup. Allen, Kenny	14 year old Kenny Allen will compete at hometown Chico Ca. Silver Dollar speedway. After a sucessful rookie year racing the west coast premier 360 events and gaining Californias sprint car cival war series rookie of the year and Placerville Speedways rookie of the year honors, not to mention national honors. The team will shift attention to 410 racing.Running at home will allow more time for this young man to fulfill baseball as well as racing. I know... you just can't tell these kids they are sooo competive! As well as weekly 410 racing at Silver Dollar the team will attend as many King of California shows as possible as well as some of the bigger 360 races on the west coast.
Alumbaugh, Austin	Austin has a full schedule of 360 and 305 sprint car racing planned for 2010. The 2009 Winged Outlaw Warriors' Rookie of the year will steer a XXX Chassis powered by Bulldog Racing Engines through four states.
Anderson, Dave	Dave "Beef" Anderson will be behind the wheel of a sprint car again. After two years of running modifeds, he is back in his father's beautiful red #53. Bob is enjoying his 53rd year in racing(WOW), and to celebrate this, Beef brought back the old school red and gold leaf #53 that Bob raced for many years! Beef will be trying his hand at 305's this season since they are picking up in SE Iowa, running mainly at 34 Raceway and Knoxville, with some other local 305 shows as well. Along with this, Beef will be taking the wing off again. After much success in 2005 and 2006 running wingless, Beef will be looking forward to some non-wing racing in the region, and will be trying his hand at the inaugural Knoxville Non-Wing Nationals, and again at the Ultimate Challenge. Bergman, Seth	Steve and Terri Bergman and Mike and Shaylen Anderson are teaming up to put Seth Bergman on the road chasing the National Championship in the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series in 2009. Bergman, out of Snohomish, Wash. will be piloting the long familiar blue No. 18 sprint car that fans around the Pacific Northwest have seen race for several years and fans across the rest of the country will get to know. Once on the road, the team will be keeping shop in the Knoxville, Iowa area. While Seth will be seeing virtually every single track on the schedule for the first time, he will have one of the country’s top 360 sprint car racers around to help guide him. Oklahoma’s Wayne Johnson, the two-time Knoxville 360 Nationals winner who piloted the No. 18 to a third place finish in September’s Fred Brownfield Memorial Sprint Challenge at Washington’s Grays Harbor Raceway, will be giving Seth pointers and good advice when needed. Dodson, Doug	The 2010 Central PA racing season is just around the corner and Doug Dodson and the team have been hard at work preparing for another exciting year of wheel to wheel sprint car action. The biggest news coming from the team during the offseason is that the team is now under new ownership. Scott and Chris Dietz of C.C. Dietz Inc. Builders have assumed the role of team owners. With this, team operations have been moved from Mechancisburg to York, PA in a newly renovated shop. Dover, Jack	Eighteen-year-old Nebraska Sprint Car standout Jack Dover has made his way to Australia to compete in six selected races over the next month. Dover will celebrate his nineteenth birthday on Tuesday, February 10 and run his first race down under four days later at Bunbury City Speedway in Bunbury, Western Australia. Dover will pilot the Greg Fisher, Fisher Motor Sports, Cool Chassis, Speed Torque 410 powered No. W15. Fisher Motor Sports sponsors include Wilmot Engineering and Vision FM 88.0. Gable, Dave	Dave Gable will be returning to URC for a full season on the Rislone Sprint Series. Gable of Reading, PA owns one career victory under the URC banner, scoring that win at the New Egypt Speedway. Gable has been an on and off again competitor with URC, managing to race when his budget could afford him the opportunity. In 2009, it's full speed ahead for this likeable and talented sprint car driver. Haas, Cory	Cory will return as driver for the Mike Barshinger race team in 2009. The 410 team will compete weekly at Lincoln Speedway for points and will visit Williams Grove Speedway quite frequently. A definite schedule has not been worked out but plans are to include all time trial, All Star and World of Outlaw events. Cory and the 358 team will run the entire point schedule at Williams Grove. Harms, Matt	Matt Harms will be in the seat of the 53H, 360 sprinter for the 2009 season. The team will be running the full Sprint Invaders schedule plus MASS races and non wing events as scheduling allows. The 2008 success with a seventh in Invader points (211 points out of first) has him thinking top five in points for 2009 and as many feature wins as possible. Matt also received the Cornwell Tools Most Improved Driver Award for 2008. Matt’s MASS runs produced a heat race win and a run from ninth to third in a B main, and one top 10 finish competing with this winged 410 series with a 360 under the hood. Non wing 360 results included a top five feature finish and a tenth in Morgan County Speedway points, even though Matt was forced to miss two races. Hawes, Jeremy	Jeremy will go after the Marysville, CA Wingless Sprints championship and hopes for a better start to the 09 season than last year. After some adjustments to the new track configuration, Hawes won 3 of the last 4 races and is looking for additional sponsors, plus looking for any opportunities to run injected wingless races.
Hartman, TJ	The 17 year old from Puyallup, WA will return in the seat of his family owned #19 Wesmar powered Maxim. The team is coming off a successful 2008 rookie season, and will look to expand the 2009 schedule slightly to include various tracks and events around the Pacific Northwest. Holtgraver, Danny	Although we are still in the off-season, there are still plenty of updates on Danny and the D4 car. First, his car will be displayed at the custom car show at the Convention Center February 6, 7, and 8, as well as at Lernerville Speedway. Danny will also make trips to Hagerstown Speedway on February 21 and Lincoln Speedway on February 28 to kick of the year with high hopes for his first two races. The D4 team will continue to race at Lincoln until racing starts at Lernerville. They will also race reguarly at Mercer Raceway Park and Sharon Speedway.
Harris, Michael	Michael Harris motorsports will be aboard a triple x chassis with backing from triple x for the 2009 race season. MHM will be backed by longtime supporter Marc Huson of Shark Racing Engines, Woods logging supply, Gen x signs and banners, JMI motoring, advanced sprint car parts. Harble, Mitchell	Mitchell Harble had a very successful rookie season in 2009, piloting the Harble Motorsports number 15h, J and J chassis, Kistler powered 410 sprint car. Mitchell participated in a total of 20 nights of racing, competing all over the state of Ohio with seven races at Attica Raceway Park, eight races at Skyline Speedway, three races at KC Raceway, one race at Hilltop Speedway, and one race at Wayne County Speedway. Mitchell and the Harble Motorsports team are now looking ahead to the 2010 racing season with hopes to broaden their horizons. The team plans on competing as much as they can at Attica Raceway Park on Friday nights. On the nights that there is not a race at Attica they would like to be racing at Skyline Speedway. The team also plans to compete at KC Raceway and Fremont Speedway on Saturday nights. In addition to these races, they would like to run as many All Star races as possible and participate in some non-wing racing action in the state of Indiana. Hirst, Kyle	One of the top California sprint car teams in 2009 are ready to take on the challenge of a National Touring Series in 2010. The Loomis, CA based, Gary Perkins owned, GP Development Racing #6, driven by 22-year-old Kyle Hirst have committed to support and contend for the Lucas Oil National ASCS sprint car dirt series championship.The team is utilizing A.R.T chassis’ and Shark Racing Engines. They plan to attend 60 races this year. The GP Development #6 will base their operation out of Jesse Hockett’s shop in Missouri. This will give them a good central location to race other venues when the National ASCS has off weekends. Hirst has set his sights on showing up at the most profitable races in the Midwest whether it is a 360 or a 410 event. “The schedule in 2010 will kind of be like last year in California,” said Hirst. “We are going to pick and choose the highest paying races closest to the shop.” The team has plans on racing with the World of Outlaws, All Stars and local regional series. The Nashville, Tn resident has hooked back up with car owner Tom Buch from Brownstown, Pa and the 2 are looking forward to an exciting year of racing. 2010 will have Mcmahan racing a true outlaw schedule, as the team looks to start the year in Florida at Ocala Speedway with the All Star circuit of Champions, then moving to Volusia Speedway for 5 more nights of action with both the All Stars and the World of Outlaw Sprint cars series. After Volusia, the team will head over to East-bay and finish off the Florida Speedweeks under the All-star banner. The team will utilize Eagle chassis with help from Jerry Russell, Wings unlimited wings, HP motors, DMI components, Butlerbuilt professional seat systems and Penske shocks. They will also have sponsorship from Indy race parts. Mechanic Sean Strausbaugh will turn wrenches on the car during the season also. As of right now, the team doesn’t have a definite schedule, as it will be a true outlaw type program, but you can plan on seeing the Buch 13 car at all the big money races, including the Knoxville Nationals, the Williams Grove Open and the Kings Royal, along with any other big races in the area.

Schmidt, Tyler	Tyler will be back in the Ty's Tileworks #49 Maxim with the Bandits, 360 Grand Slam, and VRA. He will also try to run some USAC/CRA 410 races and is looking for sponsors to help him make the trip from Hollister to Southern California to race. In addition, he is looking for ride opportunities.
Sodeman, Jack Jr	Jack and a few of the S & S Racing team will be kicking off the 2009 season in Jeff Rudzik’s, Rudzik Excavating 49 car. They plan to take on the field at Ocala Speedway in Ocala, Florida January 29th through the 31st. Then returning home the North Jackson, Ohio based S & S Racing and Economy, Pennsylvania’s Economy Tooling are pleased to officially announce Jack Sodeman Jr. will now pilot the Unwired 23jr for the 2009 race season. Along with Bill Mahan’s Verizon Unwired of Butler, Pennsylvania comes; PRS Transit of Butler, Pennsylvania; Foster Pools of Butler, Pennsylvania; County Line Supply of Valencia, Pennsylvania; Townsend Gas and Oil of Indiana, Pennsylvania; HTMA Hoosier Tire of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania; Ti22; Daffron’s Auto Body of Cortland, Ohio; Pro Shocks; and Butler Built Seats of Harrisburg North Carolina. The team plans to race Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, and other select tracks in Pennsylvania and Ohio region. “We are really excited for the 2009 season, especially with the additions to the team!” said Jack, he went on to add that the car will make appearance’s in both Lernerville car shows at Clearview Mall, March 5-7 and Pittsburgh Mills, March 12-14. Smith, Brian	In what has taken longer than anticipated Team CHR announces that Brian Smith will be returning to the seat of his Eagle in 2010 to run F.A.S.T. and possibly Attica and Fremont in 2010. Team CHR would like to Thank Gressman Powersports and Henry Motorsports for stepping up and making this possible. Scott Gressman has stepped up in a big way to help Brian get his motor program back together for 2010. Team owner Kit Henry stated "we have had the car since we finished last year though we weren't sure about the motor for his car, thanks to some work from Brian with Scott Gressman, we are able to get his engine back together for 2010." Swaim, Jason	Jason and his father have purchased a 1999 J&J Race Ready Sprint Car and plan to race at Ventura and Santa Maria in the 2009 Season. He has attended the Cory Kruseman Sprint Car Driving School and would like to thank Steve Conrad of SC Grafix and VRA Sprint Car Driver # 56, for his help with car safety and parts deals, Peter Curto for keeping us updated, and last but not least SCRAFAN and Raceway Video for the countless hours of watching Videos of Races for an increased knowledge of Sprint car racing by watching others compete. Schaeffer, Kevin	Three time Lernerville Track Champion Kevin Schaeffer is excited about the 2009 season. He will again pilot the yellow #9 Kriner powered Eagle at Lernerville, Sharon, and select other tracks this season. With his family growing, Elliott now 21/2 & Aiden just turning 1, travel is a little tricky, but Kevin will definitly be defending his third track title. Skinner, Marshall	Marshall Skinner of West Memphis Ar. is teaming up with Stinson Racing of Memphis Tn. for the 360 portion of the flordia races starting next week. Marshall will be contending for the King of the 360 Crown after taking a year off from this race in 08. Marshall was the 1999 USCS National Champion and was the 2008 runner-up behind veteran Terry Gray. Marshall is hoping the ride will continue on throughout the 2009 racing season. Strange, Billy Jr	At the end of the 2008, Billy Strange and the Strange Motorsports team developed a plan for the 2009 season. In short, they wanted to compete at Placerville Speedway for points and pick up any other races that fit in the budget for 2009. As tracks released their schedules, Billy looked at what made the most sense dollar wise and seat time. Strange Motorsports has released their 2009 schedule tentatively made up of 30 races. The season will start with Marysville Raceway Park's Open Show on March 7th and close at MRP on October 9th and 10th for another Open Show. The team will race at all Placerville point shows and the majority of the Civil War races as well. In the mix will also be some appearances at MRP point shows and of course the Pacific Sprint Fall Nationals at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, California. Stewart, JR	After a banner year in 2008 which saw the Bellefontaine, Ohio native be the first ever to pick up the Limaland Motorsports Park track championship, the NRA Invaders Series title, and the King of the Quarter Mile all in the same year; JR Stewart will again drive for Ron Hammons in 2009. The team will now start preparing the Hampshire powered Maxim for an all out assault to not only repeat what the team did last year but to add a track title at Waynesfield Motorsports Park as well where JR finished 8th in the points after missing two races due to family events. The STM #64 will be supporting a Breast Cancer theme and also promoting "5 Nights. One Cause" program as the team will have five selected nights throughout the course of the 2010 season, where they will be donating ALL the their race winnings to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
