USAC)Just less than two years ago, there
was a point in time in which Kyle Cummins was preparing to hang
up the helmet and walk away from the sport. But after receiving
an opportunity of a lifetime, the Princeton, Indiana driver’s
entire landscape changed, and ultimately led to a historically
dominant USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season in
2025. By the numbers, Cummins was the most dominant USAC
National Sprint Car champion ever. He led the points for all 49
events, which is the longest duration anybody has led the series
standings. He’s also the first driver to lead the points from
start to finish since Tracy Hines in 2002.

VSS)Langley Speedway, Hampton, Va. The
annual season ending visit to Langley Speedway’s Halloween
Speedfest special had the racing right after the costume contest
with trick or treating throughout the pits, but the biggest bag
of treats was taken home by first time winner Chase Burrow.
Heats kicked off the night with Chase Burrow and Bill Mullis
taking wins. After the redraw Chase Burrow and Bill Mullis paced
the field to green with Burrow out first Mullis in second with
Billy Hubbard and Aaron Leach followed by Chris Humblet. The
pavement races are fast and on the cool evening the cars were
flying with Burrow out front Mullis holding second as Hubbard,
Leach and Humblet were really getting after it switching spots
every lap. Humblet got to forth and started to work on Hubbard
and made it to third with nine to go. Mullis and Humblet were
closing in on Burrow with two to go Humblet tried one more time
high to get by Mullis but got loose and Mullis only got closer
to Burrow but not close enough as Burrow speed under the waving
checkered flag. At the line it was Chase Burrow, Bill Mullis,
Chris Humblet, Billy Hubbard, Aaron Leach, John Smith, Daren
Bolac, Jacob Wood, Caleb Harris, Chris Ware, Jimmy Humblet,
Matthew Leach and Jerald Harris. This finishes our season and we
want to thank all the racers and families and racetracks and
their staff and our sponsors that make it possible every year to
put on races as we look towards next year. 10/27
