  • Ultimate Sprints)Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway has added the Ultimate Sprint Car Series to the 2026 schedule. The combined 410 and 360 cubic inch series will hit the one-third mile dirt track on May 30 and Sept 12. USCS made two stops at Bakersfield Speedway in 2025 with Bakersfield’s Brody Fuson and Camarillo’s Ricky Lewis scoring the victories.   • ASCS)Sam Hafertepe Jr. made history in 2025, winning his sixth American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) championship. In 2026, he’ll go for a seventh national title with new crew help and renewed competitive drive. Hafertepe, 40, of Sunnyvale, TX, will embark on a 10th full-time season with the national 360 Sprint Car circuit this year as the defending champion for the first time since 2020. In clinching his sixth ASCS national championship — most of any driver — he also ascended into second place on the all-time Feature wins list with 11 main event victories in 2025, now holding a total of 88 national Series wins.   • Brock Zearfoss)The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss and S&D Motorsport went toe to toe with some tough luck during the recent weekend, forced to conclude each of their starts at Perth Motorplex and Bunbury Speedway short of expectation. In fact, mechanical woes were the culprit in the aforementioned double, breaking a right rear shock stud on Friday and a birdcage – while running second – on Saturday. USCS) Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by Hoosier Race Tire Winter Heat Series portion of the nearly 60 race schedule kicks off the series 30th season of winged-360 sprint car competition with a two-night, $50,000 contest at Hendry County Motorsports Park in Clewiston, Florida, on Friday and Saturday, February 6th and 7th.   • Maddington Toyota Series)As if the carrot being dangled wasn’t big enough, there are $30,000 more reasons for drivers to contest Speedweek in Western Australia, which kicks off at the Perth Motorplex on Boxing Day.
