Say What!

“This is awesome! I just wanted to keep my line and make Danny have to pass me. I saw him down in one and two a couple times. I knew there was something down there. I grew up watching him race here, so it’s a thrill to be able to race with him. He’s a good driver, and a clean driver. It’s all about lapped traffic. This place is really tough in lapped traffic. I can’t thank Todd and Susan LaHaise enough.” Dusty Zomer winning Husets Speedway SD NSL

“I knew we had a good racecar. I was saving my tires the first part of the race and when that caution came out, I realized that he [Brian Brown] was getting away from me pretty good. I just told myself I need to step it up and do what I got to do, and it all just played out, Saving my tires almost got me in trouble because I got passed at one point, but I was able to get back to second." Aaron Reutzel winning Sedalia MO Lucas Oil ASCS

“Starting on the pole was key tonight, When the little guy (at the redraw) drew number two for the Dash, I could have kissed him. We’re here in Gomuddy country, and Tod (Quiring) was here. We wanted to win for him. We want to thank all the fans for coming out.”Danny Lasoski winning Fairmont MN NSL

"We went 90 days there and didn't race and had a messed up head and a broken collar bone and that took a while to heal, That kinda weighs on you as a driver to watch other people go out and win and race. Toyota stood behind us and they never once said anything bad. To finally get a win for them this year, we needed a win." Zach Daum in Lincoln IL POWRi Midget victory lane

  • HoserVille Ohio and Millstream Speedway teamed up for Bulldog Strong Day last Sunday as the UNOH All Stars were in town. The day was dedicated to raising money for the Kevin Swindell Recovery Fund. Swindell, known as the Bulldog, was recently injured at the famed Knoxville Nationals, has a long road to recovery so the day was created to help out the family. Even though mother nature ended the program very earlier, $805 was raised to that point. The silent auctions under the grandstand and pit side were still going on as the rains hit. Since the time frames stated for the auctions were not expired, the decision was made to continue the silent auctions on September 27th when the UNOH All Stars return to the track. This is the only fair way to let people still bid on the items they were trying to win and to raise the best potential money we can for the recovery fund. A huge thanks to Jac, Sheldon, and Patty Haudenschild, for the live auction items we sold, and to Renegade Racing Fuels, Classic Ink, and all the others who donated items for the silent auctions. A huge thanks to all that donated money and bought items before the rains hit. Danny Smith was selling t-shirts rapidly as well with the money going to the fund as well. Please come out as we continue our fund raiser September 27th at Millstream Speedway. 8/25
