The dramatic finish put an exclamation point on a vintage STN night in which emotions ran high, and on at least a couple of occasion, boiled over. And it was ‘only’ Thursday night. Race Results 10/24

  • CRASH PAD)Don’t break your driver. A broken back is so serious that doctors don’t operate to repair the damage because there’s a good chance they will make it worse with further nerve damage, nonstop pain, loss of feeling or paralysis. Most times the injured driver can only wear a brace to minimize movement while waiting six months to a year for the broken bones to heal. No bending, No racing, No work, just pain... it’s a BIG problem. The CRASH PAD was created to Reduce Crash Impact Forces on your spine. We haven’t found any material that works better (or we'd use it). With its universal design, you can easily fit this simple seat insert to your seat. The thicker the better. • All Stars)Rico Abreu felt Eldora Speedway owed him something. The Napa, California driver didn’t have a very good Four Crown Nationals a couple of weeks ago and he vowed he would redeem himself upon his next visit to “The Big E.” He did just that Saturday as he claimed the University of Northwestern Ohio All Star Circuit of Champions season finale. It was Abreu’s second career UNOH All Star win, both coming this season. Abreu blasted around Dale Blaney to take the lead on lap 18 and worked his way through traffic like a surgeon to score the win. All Stars 10/12
