Say What!

“I was just watching the laps click down with seven or eight to go and I really wasn’t gaining on him, I knew that the harder I ran, the slower I’d go. I just talked to myself a little bit and made sure I hit my marks rather than overdrive it. There were a few laps where I was turning down off four and ift was okay, but I knew that in order to run him down earlier, I had to get up there and pound it.” Logan Seavey winning Circle City IN USAC Sprints

“I’ve always wanted to win a national Midget race at Jacksonville, it’s basically my home track,To finally be able to get it done, to win an Xtreme race with everyone here and passing Cannon for the win is a huge deal for us.” Karter Sarff winning Jacksonville IL Xtreme Outlaw Midgets

“Just happy to get a win,These are never easy to come by. There’s a lot of attrition in these races. It takes a great race car and a great race team, and we have all of that. Just happy to get out of here with a win and on to Placerville tomorrow night.” Brad Sweet winning Hanford CA All Stars

“I knew we had a great car all night. Making some forward progress in the dash really put us in a great position. Parker [Price-Miller] is good here. We just tried to be patient when we got into traffic,Traffic was just as good as we were there for a while. I just put it all out there…got gutsy through one and two which kinda set us up for the last few corners. Luckily it all worked out.” Kyle Reinhardt, driver of the Bryan Grove Racing No. 45, said in Fremont OH All Stars victory lane

National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Gene Marderness has been shooting at Dirt Tracks across America since the 60's. He has tons of great classic shots and we are going to post some here in Gene's Corner.
