(Top) Blasting his way around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway dirt 1/2 mile, 19 year old youngster Corey Day pushes the Preston Cross/Jason Meyers Racing's KPC chassis to its limit as he flexes the muscles of the Charlie Garrett's Racing Engine. (TOP MIDDLE) The season opener 30 lap High Limit Racing Sprint A-Main event saw pole setter and quick timer (stopping the clock at 14.234 seconds) Daryn Pittman (69K) piloting the famed Pennsylvania based Don Kreitz team as he easily outrunning the field with Day (14BC) trying to keep pace with the former 2013 World of Outlaw Point Champion race leader. (MIDDLE) With top dog Pittman entering in a new zip code over the field, the race for second position starts heating up as Rico Abreu (24), Corey Day (14BC) and Kyle Larson (57) begin their grueling assaults on each other. (BOTTOM MIDDLE) With Pittman first ever High Limit Racing Sprint A-Main win within sight, disaster strikes as his ride slowed to a stop as he was out of fuel handing the race lead over to Day. The race was then halted for a fuel stop, new race leader Day ran the remaining 7 laps as he charged across the finish line without any serious challenges in front of a packed grandstand at Sin City winning the $25,000 first place prize. (BOTTOM) The top three finishers poses in victory lane with (left to right) third place runner Brad Sweet, winner Corey Day, and runner-up Kyle Larson. This victory put Day third in the all time High Limit A-Main 3 year win list.………...ANOTHER HEIN BROTHERS' "ACTION" PHOTOGRAPH

Say What!

“All year we’ve just been off a little bit, We just kept working hard at it, and we just want it really bad. We weren’t going to let it get to us. Obviously, it’s a long, grueling, so it’s nice to get a win somewhat early on and change some things for this to happen today. I just want to thank them (team) for their hard work. It goes into a lot. We changed cars today, and this was actually the car we ended the year with last year, so I’m really happy about that.” Buddy Kofoid winning Kennedale TX WoO

“Adam (Clark) has worked extremely hard, It’s been I feel like a lot of swings here. We’ve only raced eight or nine times and went from DIRTcar (Nationals) to being fast at Bike Week to then being fast at Magnolia and making mistake and got one back in the Heat Race. Just super proud of Blake and Harley and getting, I think, both of their first Outlaw wins. Very cool.” Gio Scelzi winning Kennedale TX WoO

“I was pretty confident before that caution. I told Zack (Myers, crew chief) we were kind of fighting something with the wing valve…it felt like the wing was just moving wherever it wanted. So I was driving the thing and trying to push it back forward and finally just let it trunk itself and dealt with it. It was pretty close there with Craig…man I’ll take it, it was a lot of work,” said Cap Henry winning at Attica OH

I have a loyalty that runs in my bloodstream, when I lock into someone or something, you can't get me away from it because I commit that thoroughly. That's in friendship, that's a deal, that's a commitment. Don't give me paper - I can get the same lawyer who drew it up to break it. But if you shake my hand, that's for life.  Jerry Lewis
